Opening beneath The Station this June, BANGLA is a bold new modern Asian dining experience inspired by the vibrant energy, flavour and atmosphere of Asia’s greatest dining districts.

Hidden deep below the heritage-listed 1908 South Perth Police Station, BANGLA brings together flavour-packed share plates, electric atmosphere and a little late-night mischief – all reimagined through the lens of one of Perth’s most celebrated hospitality groups, Nokturnl.

Leading the kitchen is Nokturnl Executive Chef Sundoo Kim, alongside Head Chef Thanapat ‘Teddy’ Rattichot.

For Perth food lovers, Sundoo Kim’s name will already be a familiar one. Since relocating from Melbourne’s acclaimed Lucas Group to open Lotus at The Beaufort in 2022, Kim has become one of the driving culinary forces behind our award-winning sister restaurants: Lotus, Tonic + Ginger and KARLA.

BANGLA marks the next exciting chapter for our incredible Asian dining portfolio. Drawing inspiration from across Asia rather than one single cuisine, the menu will centre around bold flavours, vibrant produce and flavour-driven share-style dining designed to bring people together.

Expect signature Feed Me and Banquet menus, vibrant cocktails and Nokturnl’s signature polish.
Inspired by the sensory chaos and movement of the iconic Bangla Road, the venue itself has been designed to feel lively, immersive and full of atmosphere.

Bookings are now officially open ahead of opening on 19 June 2026.
